only to finish it off, and only if you are purist [IMHO]
Or if you don't care about swirling your paintwork...

thepits said:Okay, I'll admit it .... :| I have been known to use microfiber towelsBUT in the "olden days' they didn't exist, and the E30 M3 won prizes without them
.
Also there is no need to spends £'s on them - Tesco do a "Everyday Value" pack which are fine. Name isn't everything

A different type of paint is used these days, and of course the Z is much newer, so I wonder what they will look like after 30 yearsStevenH72 said:haha, granted I didn't, but the paintwork on Z's seem to be much more reflective / glass like than E30's anyway, which even when they are perfect seem slightly duller.thepits said:StevenH72 said:My paintwork certainly looks better than any E30 M3 I've ever seen. You obviously never saw mine at Gaydon! 8)

This one is even better. I also use the Blue one for the Door/Boot shuts etc and separate ones for the Wheels.
Small price to pay for premium towels from CYC. I've been using them for a while now and the service and delivery times are excellent.
You can definitely tell the difference between supermarket and CYC etc towels of all descriptions.

Love that site although have you noticed lately they have been out of stock of a LOT of stuff, particularly chemical guys and also when they want to sell their own equivalent they are 'out of stock' of the brand one..... A little annoying

Wierd, I thought it was just me noticing them running out of certain products.
I usually get a large order together every 2 months so I get the free delivery. So I thought it was just me being paranoid![]()

  This simply isn't normal though. Brilliant commitment to the car, but massively OTT.
