I always carry a BMW mobility kit which contains both a powerful compressor and tank of goo to use. I always doubt the small aerosols will both seal and inflate a large tyre and equally if all I have is a nail in the tyre I can use the compressor alone without gooing the tyre up.

I also have a emergency spare at home such that if the need arises for a new tyre I have time to pick one up on the internet at a decent price, not the first garage I have to pull into at whatever make, model and price available.
