Hey all!
Query to see if anyone else has had this problem, or if anyone has any extra ideas. Drivers window has a 1-2mm gap between the A Pillar and the glass - causes a lot of wind noise when driving. It also wont one-click up, it gets about 90% before giving it and coming back down. 75% of the time, when opening the door, the window glass will drop the full way (ideal for the current British weather, generally annoying).
I've tried the two adjustments under the door, I've experimented extremes in both directions and not much difference is made - they seem to make more of a difference to how the rear sits up against the back and the top than it does at the front
At the weekend I took the door card off and tried to reseat the glass in the regulator - someone has been there before as the membrane is all torn up (new one on order) - was a bit fiddly, the glass feels more solid in place after but I've still got the gap pictured below.
I've tried adjusting the door latch on the body, this helped straighten up some body gaps but no difference to the glass.
Cheers for the read
