Does your partner use your Z ?

I'm not going to lie, my parking is rubbish.

My parking is getting worse! I was a pro' when i was at uni. Often feel I'm guessing with the Zed's hips through gaps and no idea where the front is either. Doesn't help that I chop and change usually between driving little boxes during the week.

Our Z4 is registered in my wife's name - can't remember why - but my wife loves driving it and I have every confidence in her driving as I know she has in mine. :)

She does however prefer being a passenger - we are out for runs and hoons every weekend.

It doesn't stop her marking my parking out of 10 every time though! :?

Mr M is allowed to drive it but he doesn't very often. If we're out together in it its usually me doing the driving as its my car and I love it!
He's got a scooby which I drive whenever he doesn't feel like driving so we're even on the driving each other cars score.

2. No idea where the front ends

Neither do I. But this has never stopped me :driving:
I might be seen to cautiously park get out have a look and repark on a regular basis. But its better than other "reminders" that I have pulled too far in :o

Same for me, what's the problem?

Never, ever, ever, ever park front in :o

Reverse in and avoid that horrid scrape of spoiler on kerb

How does the scooby compare to the 350z he had.

Agreed Mr. Truman. I rarely put the nose in first. As well as preventing the big scrape. It's much safer pulling straight out. That's the way we in the military were required to park. Plus I owned a lorry company for 10 years. So I back in no matter what I'm driving. I always play it safe when parallel parking the Zed and have no ego issues with getting out inspecting and nudging a little closer. The embarrassment of not nailing the parallel parking on first go will disappear much more quickly than that kurb rash.

As per the other half driving the Zed. I have no problem with her driving it. She drives the Zed to work when her 328 needs maint. or I need to have more than 1 passenger. She's a good/safe driver as well. But she prefers her 328 because she has better outward vision in that car.

We were out yesterday and a 350Z went past and he let out a little wistful noise, says it all eh?

Actually he does like the scooby, it goes really well, as you'd imagine plus we have a back seat.
It picks up a tad jerky imo but that's just being picky.
I've never asked him to do a proper comparison, I will and report back. :)

She's insured, brought my insurance down.

Although she doesnt tend to drive it while I am at home/in the car, very bad passenger in my own car

Whilst I am away for work though she has it, just as long as she doesnt use my wheels as parking sensors like she does on her car :(

350z is still a car I have an itch for. I came so close to buying one before the z4 but kept thinking of the fuel costs. At least in the z4 you can have a lot of fun and still get good mpg :driving: .

He says, '"No comparison. Scooby is better because of where we live with its 4wd and also it does go like stink but 350z wins hands down between the two"

She had her own , Sterling Grey 2003 3.0 Auto, until she couldn't fit enough stuff in it and sold it.

Jenny is insured on mine but too afraid to drive it pahahahahahah - not for fear of its power, but fear of my wrath should anything happen

No chance! she does damage from the passanger seat let alone from behind the wheel!! There was a small incident the other day of opening the door onto someones elses car, needless to say no damage to either vechicles but we also didn't speak till the next day!!

Insurance wise, my mum, and two sisters are on there to keep the premium down, but as they live abroad it all works rather well!

I said No in an earlier post......... and guess who reversed into a tree this morning

Luckily I was in her car and not the Zed, but I am not going to live this done for a while.....
