Andy - when you have stripped the end of the cable you should be able to push the wire through the two small holes on the white adaptor - the bare cable then follows the plastic channel and bends back on itself. Hope that makes sense!!
J4ymo and pauly, where did you get the led sidelight adaptor? I was gonna just splice them into the existing wiring but this solution is easier to remove without harmining the cars integrity!

Yeah I purchased some led's for the footwell ages ago that came with the adapters off good old eBay. They were too bright tho so pinched the adaptor for this mod!
