The Ellipsoids look a lot better darker on a Sterling Silver, I always think that after I have washed them, they looked better dirrty.

I totally agree. They look VERY silver when I wash them. They are pretty dirty at the moment and they look quite good! I need to get mine refurbed anyway, so I might get them painted a slightly 'off silver' while im at it.TH3R4POR said:The Ellipsoids look a lot better darker on a Sterling Silver, I always think that after I have washed them, they looked better dirrty.
Its a sticker pack you buy from ebay. Stick on and then i sprayed clear lacquer over it. Had them on a year and no sign of coming of at all.Tired said:Dreamer, did you put the 'BMW' on yours? or was that stock?Dreamer said:Search 'Caliper' and you should see a few different examples. Ooo, hemel's not too far from me. Whats the name? I'll look them up.TH3R4POR said:ryukin, If I was getting mine refurbed I'd definitely for a grey colour. There's a very good (and reasonable) refurber near Hemel by the way.

Your kidding...
A basic job can be done with wheel off and jacked up clean caliper and paint in situ. Some have great results this way with careful painting and masking. A better job is wheel off remove caliper clean and paint all around.
Either way forget any ide of trying to painth through th ewheel spokes and voids

What colour are those 108's? They look like they are a gunmetal grey? I am thinking of getting my 108's re-sprayed and like the look of yours.....![]()
Heh, I wasn't requesting (I omitted an 'I' at the start of the sentence), but thanks for considering it anyway!cj10jeeper said:Spud said:Yours match the seats too though, which helps!
Fancy doing mine BMW blue at some point.
It's no accident that they do match (well the same basic colour) Much of the detracting and contrasting colour has gone too - amber indicators, amber sides and rears, red centre brake, blue and white badges, etc. - all gone
Of course i could help do the calipers, but frankly it will take as long to drive here and back than do them.
