Yes, drives me nuts!! Loads of cats in my area (incl 2 of my own) but only 1 sits on my roof... and has sharp claws...!!!

as a coupe owner i have trained my cats to sit on any roadster roof that appears on the street

Yes - my neighbours cat tried it once. 3 blips of the key and as the roof started to unlatch and fold and she was gone. Never been back to do it since

Cat sits on our doormat all day every day now and we're both happy

Our Ginger cat has spent a night or 2 on my roof when it has sneaked in the garage and got locked in over night, The only damage ever caused was when she knocked a small tin off a shelf which put a wee chip in the front wing, Removing the hair from the roof is simples, sellotabe wrapped round your hand and rub gently, takes a minute or two and its all gone.

As per the recent topic on closing the boot, do you use your cat to close and buff up at the same time? :poke:

OOOhh, I like the way you think, good Idea

Squirt them with water with a drop of fairy liquid in it, its perfectly safe and they soon learn to associate the taste with sitting there.

If anyone is worried if it will hurt the cat you can swallow fairy liquid, it just doesnt taste very nice
