Do you wave?

This has been covered before, when we went down to Chepstow last year, we saw quite a few z's and none waved, I just wave and and flash and believe that I'm the happy chappie and their the sad buggers :poke:

On the English Welsh meet, there where loads of Z4's and none waved  Although I did get a wave from a Z3 owner near Tintern :)

Tried it for a few months after getting red. Mostly got ignored, but had a two waves back, including one coupe driver :poke:

What amuses me most is the completely befuddle look I get if I wave at female in an E89. The majority have no clue why I'm waving in the first place.

I wave all the time...just a quick hand flip from the wheel to say Hi :D To be honest I get more blank looks than anything else. Silly thing is living near Skipton, we seem to have a large Zed population. Theres at least 6 I see regularly.

But now its summer, ok its warm and sunny.....top is down, so Im waving at anyone who is similarly disposed. I get most waves back from Classic Car owners, however I have decided to draw the line at MX5 owners.....standards have to be observed...

I wave every time, even to Z3 and E89 owners but they don't seem to bother. One guy near me has a blue coupe and wouldn't wave to me at first but he's come round after flashing like f**k

Always.

I'm pretty sure my girlfriend now just expects me to wave hysterically as soon as we see another E85/E86.

Not had a single one wave back though

I found myself doing it yesterday and I'm driving an Audi courtesy car, felt a bit of a tit when I realised dont know if they saw but bet they were wondering what I was doing if they did

Why on earth would you wave to someone because they have the same car as you. Never understood it. I don't do it and don't/wouldn't respond to someone who did. Leave all that infantile, nepitistic guff for caravan and motorhome drivers. 8)

Depends if she's good looking or not, but if bald with tattoos I tend to pass on it

Tim.

Nothing wrong with bald women with tattoos!

I always tip the nod to fellow bikers, even when I'm in the car, unless they have L plates of course (not "proper" bikers!) other bikers ALWAYS reciprocate, even sometimes when I am in the car if they have seen me.

Interestingly, the other day, I was out in the Zed, roof down, and nodded to a biker with a pillion as I scorched past him :) At the lights he pulled up and asked what my "proper ride" was! He then said "this is only a 500, which is why you got away" I then left him for dead (again) at the lights :)

I have a motor bike too, a cruiser. I got sick of nodding at pricks on pocket rockets who obviously thought they were above returning the nod to somebody on a lowly cruiser. So, now I'll only return a nod if some one nods first, otherwise f*** em. Prats!!!!
