Do you look back at your Zed?

Well almost unanimous then. So I probably don't need therapy - well at least not for that...

Funniest one is to see other people look at the Zed, but then do all they can to appear not to be looking...

On the basis that you dont get to see how 'damn good' looking they are when you're driving them, you need to look at them as you approach or walk away. I cant think of a better looking car from the front at the moment.

I definitely don't hide the fact that I look at my car before leaving it unattended. It looks nice.. Especially after a good washing!

The zed is a hot looking car. I love it

Mrs PVR always laughs that I never see any other women, but always stare at cars including my own ...

i'm glad someone bought this up! i really thought there was something wrong with me! i'm exactly the same cj. park it look to make sure my babies safe. walk away, turn around, look at it again (3 or 4 times) and throughout the whole process i've got the biggest grin on my face. i even occasionally open the front door to just look at it. I even get butterflies!!

I think we all got Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. After I drive my Z4 and park it, I walk around and check all wheels and every body panel.

Surely she should be glad?!

I quite often look back at mine. A little (related) story, last time we were house shopping we came across this house that had an integral double garage - not that unusual, but there can't be many houses that have big windows through the internal wall from the hallway into the garage...

Shame the rest of the house was nothing special because that would've been awesome for car viewing :D

Hi Forum,

I don't want to alienate myself on this forum but I think those that glance back are either mad (have OCD at the least) or paranoid! Probably the latter...

I am the first to admit that it is a good looking car with presence, 'but', it isn't a piece of sculpture nor does it break the very laws of beauty like the to die for curves on a classic e-type for example. I agree that I sometimes ponder about the parking nightmare as so few people are considerate when parking their piece of 'sh*t' next to my nice Z. But, regardless of cost and beauty, it is there to be driven, and by doing so you must understand that you yourself will abuse it, stone chips, wear and tear. There is nothing worse than loving your car so much that you don't want to drive it as it may get damaged or dirty!?!?!? What is the point, after all it is only a car.

My point, don't look at it, drive it.

PS. Do we have any engineers/designers on the forum? Here is a million dollar idea, a car that has parking sensors around the entire car, sides, front, rear, that help you park but when you lock it they stay on, anything that comes within 12 inches of the car (people, other car doors, yobs - not the same as people of course) the lights flash and a speaker says 'don't touch my car *sshole'. You could even have a self record mode, you could have 'please refrain from touching my car, please' or just 'don't even think about it!' depending on your own personality. Do you think it's a good idea?

Devon-Doug (in Devon if you didn't guess. Are any other forum members in this area, meet?)

Yep, guilty as charged :) Like to look back at the car when I walk away and I'll even detour across the car park to see it from another angle...help...I need help
