Do you look back at your Zed?

Well an obvious question that when you park the Zed up and walk away do you look back?

I can't help it and look back everytime and have a little smile to myself.

I have this feeling that if you do, then you love the car. If not it's time to move on, or at least the shine has gone and it's become a mode of transport.

Yeah, I love my car. My neighbours think Im mad washing and polishing all the time. They might be right - but they are things of beauty. Every time I park it up I have a big grin on my face when I look back - Do we need professional help? :)

Yep, I always do it. Especially the other day when I had to park in a bad area, and two lads said as I start to walk away... "Woah, that's a nice car!"... I say thanks, walk away, look back, and they've got their hands pressed up on the car, face on the glass, taking a look inside! Well, at least they weren't keying it!

This is why I will use VW Polo to do shopping and doggy places. Z4 attracts too much attention.

I have considered doing that, but my Z4 is my every day transport, and it's not a raw enough car for a weekend toy.

Plus, you spend £20k on a car, you may as well get every ounce of enjoyment out of it by driving it all the time! :D

I drive my Z4 to work 5 days a week, but just not to supermarket, shopping centre's car park and unknown places. Last week, my colleague's 2-month-old 320d SE (company car) got a deep dent above the OSR's wheel arch when he parked his car in a car park during a meeting.

I have to go to meetings all over the place, but always make sure I know where I'm going to park it fist... God I'm geeky!

I look on google maps first, then if when I get there, it doesn't look very good, I'll drive away and find somewhere else to park. Thursday just gone, I had a meeting in town, but the parking was crappy (even though it was right outside), so I parked about 15 minute's walk away, and paid to park!

When I have to go to meeting somewhere else, I ring head office and they will arrange a hire car (Golf/Focus) delivered to my house. I used to drive my own car, but becuase of the change of company's policy. Employees now get hire car when they go to business trips. It is good though I don't have to put mieage on my own car, and pay petrol upfront and wait for reimbursement month later.

I always look back, and as i work away i always look forward to parking up the company van and then getting the zed out of the garage driving it at the weekend it does'nt get much better than that. :driving:

I don't look back that often but find myself walking slowly back towards it (especially when it's just been washed and polished), just thinking what a great looking car, I have thought of changing it but just can't bring myself to it and am in no rush to either, I've never owned a car so long.

Just like Redzedfour I work away from home (currently driving an Opel Mervia 1.7 CDT) and just look forward to getting home and when I walk up to it this stupid grin just breaks out on my face, and stays there next couple hours. :driving: :D

I'm always looking back at it as I walk away... I also look at it out of the bedroom window just so I can see it... maybe a quick peek out of the front door every now and then, and I always linger in the garage whilst I'm getting out my moped so I can look at the z4 for a bit longer.

Perhaps we do need help! :D

Yes guilty as charged look back every morning when i walk down to the bus stop then have another glance as the bus drives past my house :D and when i have finished washing the car will sit on the front wall with a bottle of beer with a big smile at what a great looking car i have :D :D :D

I always look back too. Good thing there are people like me, otherwise I guess I'd feel retarded :)
