love my heated seats...never had them before, but its been warm in northern cali and i still used them last night, like the previous poster, my back has been giving me problems lately and the m seats and the heat are so good for it.

If you are having lower back pain turn the seats up to high and then go find a bumpy road for the Zed Spa back rub :D

Luckily I have "hairdryers" in the headrests too, lovely on a cold day.

Hairdryers in the headrests ?..let me guess, some hair straighteners down the side of the drivers door as well >?......not doing much to dispell the hairdressers car rumours!
Wondermike's got an SLK with Airscarf... heat vents towards the neck on demand. I thought it was overkill on MB's part, but I think it's a very popular option.

Great to have. I use them with the roof down and have also started to use them first thing in the morning - outside temp gauge read 3.5 deg C yesterday and I had to chisel ice off the windscreen for the first time.
Now that is one thing I will miss that I had on my last MINI. A heated front screen! Don't think Z4's came with the option? Even the missus Ford Focus has that!
Definitely! I can't believe the Z4 didn't come with a heated screen. It's annoying when you blast the air after a cold start only to find the screen fully mists up before clearing. It's led to some near blind driving at times.

It's also annoying having to frequently blast the air to keep the screen clear if you don't have the aircon on.

The only bad thing abt heated seat its that its not good for big Jim and the twins... :D
Heat can cause lower sperm count......

But who cares... keeps my ass warm...

Perhaps when they designed the Z4 they had a model driver in mind. The sort of pansy driver that needs heated seats and packs their car away in a nice warm garage during the winter months! :P

Would also explain why the 108 wheels fall to dust when a spot of UK road salt hits them!!

Some of us don't worry about that. :P

Heated screens are for pansy drivers who aren't hearty enough to scrape the windscreen....

I'm confused. What is this cold weather and misting screens? Is that some new movie?
Ok, Ok, don't rub it in!! :poke:

We are going to get that for months in the UK now!

I don't consider what you will have for the next few months as "cold" mate...to be "cold" it has to be below -25 C... :D

Yes, I store the M in the winter....a little tough to drive in these conditions....they don't come with a snow plow option for the front end unfortuantely.....

Gosh now hair dryers in the headrests is something even i haven't thought of...i use the vents turned on high heat and aimed at my hair......i would like a heated steering wheel though.

I'd happily swap dumps of snow and bright days for the rain, gloom and cloudiness we have here
