dont have em,but used to in an old jag.when i got a bird in the passenger seat would secretly turn her side on and make it slowly hotter and hotter, great fun secretly laughing as she squirmed around with her moistened crotch asking "is it just me or is it hot in here"

Just an FYI, a few of us on here are "birds"....... :x

Start out on "high" when the weather is cold and move to "low" after a few miles.
What do you know about cold weather? I heard that people in your town start wearing coats when it's 55 degrees! :P

I found that on a cool sunny day, I can wear a hat and gloves and the seat warmers keep me warm with the top down

Fourth car I have had with heated seats now. Ironic that the one car I had in recent years without them was my Honda S2000 - and it was the one that needed them the most.

Seems like the perfect matchup - a roadster with bun warmers......

If you need heated seats to accomplish that then you're not doing it right, mate :poke:

Had them in 3 of my last 4 cars. Only one I didn't have them in was my previous Z roadster.

Don't need them as much in the coupe but given the cold snaps we get here, they are a benefit! Saying that, I don't travel early morning/late nights anymore so don't really need them as much as I used to.

But love them! I used to have them on in my TT during the summer too cos I'd liked the warm feeling on the old butski!

Wouldn't be without them :)

Luckily I have "hairdryers" in the headrests too, lovely on a cold day.

Hairdryers in the headrests ?..let me guess, some hair straighteners down the side of the drivers door as well >?......not doing much to dispell the hairdressers car rumours!

Great to have. I use them with the roof down and have also started to use them first thing in the morning - outside temp gauge read 3.5 deg C yesterday and I had to chisel ice off the windscreen for the first time.

Now that is one thing I will miss that I had on my last MINI. A heated front screen! Don't think Z4's came with the option? Even the missus Ford Focus has that!

Yes and i love them as said above great for top down driving if its a bit chilly and in the winter mmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

Never been too bothered about the heated screen. It's a nice idea, I'm always staring at the wires in the glass and it annoys me. I'd rather they just put heating elements (like those in a hairdryer) in the de-mist blowers so you can thaw the screen without waiting for the engine to warm.

As for heated seats; mine has them, and thus I use them, but I wouldn't be that bothered if it didn't. They're nice for cold mornings or winter top-down stuff, but I never have them on for more than a minute or so because it gets too warm for comfort.

I used to think heated seats were no big deal, but when they arrived in my first roadster... ahhh. :)

Four cars later, heated seats are remain a deal maker or breaker. I passed on two Caymans for lack of tush-toasters (not to mention liking the long snout, sweeping lines and relative rarity of the Z4 coupe better). And even in the coupe they are still nice for warming one's rump on crisp morning runs. :D

What I do wish we had... heated shift knobs and steering wheels.
