Do AP Racing rear BBK use oem hoses?

Your wheels look amazing :) Were you able to get them in the UK or did you have to ship them here?

Calipers are massive!

Looking good there, nice to see another member with the AP upgrade. I'm with Beedub quite possibly the best mod I have done to the car, although I am loving the 4.10 diff upgrade I have had done recently, you should definitely put that on your list too...

So the brakes are absolutely awesome! Thats some stopping power, just wish i could try it out properly!! Need to go book something in. Beedub, i didn't get any discount, I tried! These things have a 2 month waiting list, they were 3 and a half. Steep yes, but when the four large boxes arrived I started to feel a little better about it :), it's a lot of kit.

@jimmybell, wheels came from California, I absolutely love them except mine started corroding in under a year! I havn't figured out what the problem is, if its my set, something that I did or just the wheels. You can't see it in the photo but it's quite bad, especially on the front which makes me thing it's brake dust. The manufacturers said they would fix it but it would cost me more to ship them back to calli to have them re cut than to pay for it here myself. Their diamond cut which apparently are more susceptible to corrosion but the manufacturers said they havent had issues so far.

Do you guys know if the AP kit will fit behind stock wheels - I want to continue using my OEM wheels as track wheels once I've fitted a BBK? I have 15mm spacers I use on the track so I have a little more room already.

When i was looking into if the would fit i found a post on one of the other forums where someone couldn't get them to fit stock wheels. I think there used to be an older version of the calipers that was even bigger so I dont know which one the guy was talking about. Anyhow, you can check by downloading the pdf http://www.apracing.com/Drawings/P16230.pdf

Are they Apex wheels?

I was looking at a set, which exact spec. are those?

Has anyone fitted a BBK only to the front? I think I want front and rear, but I wonder if this is a necessary extra expense? I drive mine very hard on the track and I'm planning for much more power next year...

Drove an e36 tourer with front BBK and honestly.... I couldn't tell the backs weren't done too, insane stopping power, he just fitted a more aggressive pad in the rear ....

Looking at it I see lots of factory cars with a large multi-piston setup upfront and normal calipers in the rear..., think you'll be fine...

Hmmm more power I hear u say???

I'm back from Oz in the spring and I've lots of plans  I'm hoping to visit you to discuss superchargers and also suspension mods, so inevitably I'll be needing better brakes too :) Money will dictate the order and extent of my mods, but I plan to start with a SC and a few more minor suspension adjustments, as well as improving brake cooling. Later, I'm hoping for coilovers and a BBK....

BMW.... Really looking forward to you coming over, I will go through every detail with a fine comb brush, the good and the bad so you can make an informed decision :-)
