Disca's S5 V8

Great work on the tips! I did the same on my TTS... But then applied some collenite wax to them... And its been 8 months now and all they need is a wipe monthly.

I was also expecting no mods after i got married... But after a while they encourage you to... As it gets you out of the house.... And gives them some space!!

I've been busy this month modding my TT... Baby now 8 days overdue so need to get them out of the way otherwise never will get time too!

Interesting! It's the Vee-Power Goodwood Breakfast Club on the 4th so maybe i'll wax them this weekend or next weekend while cleaning it ready for that

Finally got round to re-adding the front badge to the honeycomb grille.

New set of front rings also however they aren't sitting right at the bottom due to them changing the clip positions from the inside of the rings to the outside. It might just need brute force but I don't want to break them!

Probably need to take the bumper off again at some point and figure out what is going on from behind but it's too cold at present!

Took you 2 months to stick a badge on the front.... Ruby must have you running all over the place with wedding things to do!!

Nope just took me ages ha! I did try it once but couldn't get it to sit right so gave up... and then realised how it was meant to sit the other day :D

He sneakily fitted it in between coming back from church wedding prep and sealing the invites with the wax stamp

I was trying to melt the wax so I could re-seal it before my wife noticed that I opened an envelope addressed to both of us. You have a lot to learn Disca

So yesterday I had R-Tec Auto Design in St Albans fit two items.

Firstly was a 034 motorsport transmission insert which takes some of the movement out of the gear changes, very happy with the result, 1st to 2nd is much improved.

Secondly was a Milltek Non-Resonated cat back and large bore downpipes :D

and a quick fly-by in Hindhead Tunnel

Will get a picture of new rear of car on Monday as it needs to go back for some alignment adjustments.

....and what did Ruby get?
Yeah, come on Mike you have to share out the goodies... Cindy would have expected a new Prada handbag or a pair of Louboutin heels as a quid pro quo... :poke:

Well.. the beast is gone.
I joined Ruby in owning an Up :driving:
Guess that lines me up to re-join the forum as an owner in a year or so!

and no it isn't because of what someone will no doubt suggest. :poke:

Both, love the car to bits.
But for other reasons that make me less regretful it had to go.
I am rather enjoying the Up instead though, the fuel economy is great in comparison :D Can go 2-3x as far on a tank that costs half the price :driving:

How do you find the Up Disca? Which one did you go for? I was contemplating the Mii as a replacement for the wifes Corsa as I find they look better and cost slightly less overall that the Up..
