Disca's S5 V8

I do like the Up, I had driven Ruby's one a few times prior to buying.

I went for a limited edition model, the "black edition" which has a bit more chrome styling and looks a bit sharper inside and out, and is black of course.

Driving wise I have no issues with them really, quite nippy for what they are and I'm getting an average of 60mpg on my 106 mile daily round trip.

Anything in particular you wish to know :D?

Engine choice you have the option of a 60PS, 75PS 1.0 three cylinder engine. There is also now an e-Up which is some electric version but I don't know anything about that one.

I have the 75PS engine and it's good for what it is!

I'll get a picture of the boot when I finish work and report back on the other three when I get home, will have a think about them on the drive.

Yeah I have the 75PS 5 speed manual.
No clue what the auto box is like.

Boot space wise there are three configurations for the boot:

Shallow

Deep

I think the ride quality is actually pretty good, it's a sporty chassis as so small, can uprate the suspension to coilovers too for even more fun :D

Noise wise its definitely quieter than a Z4 roadster in side from a road noise perspective. There is little padding between the bodywork and wheels so can hear stones hitting the metal below the car sometimes on looser surfaces.

Overall though I am very happy with it.

Jmo Disca but i don't know of one single owner who has not had mither with a Audi "S" car & even more so "RS" :? its either main dealer warranty or potential bust around every corner
At least you enjoyed yours & think my son went the right way by avoiding the S5 & buying his Scirocco R

& don't forget to change your sig :D "he who has the smallest boot gets the least shopping in " :P

Oh dear... Cant believe its gone.... Especially after your fancy miltek.

Least its still a vw and imo sometimes a little runabout getting from a to b is far more satisfying to drive than something more expensive.

I have no problem with my Audi S car, rather enjoying it now its out of its warranty and got a few engine mods!! But mines basically the same as your sons Rocco just tarted up differently.

Only just seen this Disca, shame the Audi has gone but understand that needs must sometimes!
Shame I never got to see your Audi in the flesh :)

Glad you're enjoying the Up though, no doubt so is your wallet! :driving:
