Many times I am out and the top is down and I want to secure some valuables in the trunk. Well as we know, the little button inside the passenger compartment releases the trunk without need for a key.
Is there a way to disable the button temporarily. I would not want to cut wires.
Perhaps locking the doors with the top down might work but can the doors be opened by reaching inside the car and pulling the door handle?
Actually I never lock the car whether the top is up or down. My brother taught me years ago that every thief has a key to get into a convertibleā¦its called a knife. So with that in mind I would like to disable that feature, even though it comes in handy at times. Is it fused and if so what else is on that circuit?
