Do I miss proper 'Coke', sugar in tea, strong mints and a few other no-no's - no I don't anymore. Got to add the NHS has been brilliant, twice yearly check-ups at the GP, free sugar testing gear, free blood pressure monitor, retina checks twice a year, a few sessions with a dietician, I don't think I could have been better treated. It was a bit of a scary thing when first told but that was mainly down to not knowing too much about it.
I'm think I've been lucky and I know there's a lot of others far worse off than me.
