I knew it would start a flame war...I think you missed the point....if you poll the E85 guys they tend to run mid range rubber....the E89 guys tend to run premium rubber..

Of course there are always exceptions....

Also you can get brand new ones for £740..

The other issue is whether the TPMS that works on an. E85 is the same as an E89...

Not wishing to piss on anyone’s bonfire but just looking at the facts...and ...typical buying behaviour...

Just articulating my own thoughts.....from an E89 perspective...which I’m politely trying to suggest may not be the same as an E85 perspective...

Even within the E89 clan you have the US type guys looking at spending £2k on suspension and £2k on turbos...

:poke:

Oh man  even suggesting E89 owners buy better rubber for their cars than other Z owners is as good a laugh ive had in ages  there's a " beautiful low mile mint 35i " for sale on forum right now with Evergreens all round  :P

& for the record , Only Bmws from around 2014 onwards use the TPMS system within the valves themselves so not relevant with E85 E86
& that link above is a different set of wheels too :D

Hi,
watching this on the other site,
The 12mm spacers on the e92 rear, did you need the spacers or not? as the offset is et43

Oh wow, so not wanting to start a flame war but even at 740 mine come with rubber that has done circa 14 miles, that rubber was circa 500 quid. Meaning almost brand new rubber basically free.

Also, I had the tpms on my e92 and my e85 without issue, I think Id have mentioned it in the original post if they caused an issue...

Looks like a deal has been done between myself and Jamie...Looking forward to picking these up and getting them on my phoenix yellow coupe! Cant believe I have got into my 40's and have never purchased any after-market wheels before.....
Thanks Jamie.
Will obviously post some pics up when get these on...

Also on the Kumho rubber, I fitted 2 rear KU39 LE Sport's a few weeks ago and the grip is awesome in both wet and dry

What an absolute load of rubbish - you really don't know what you're talking about.

It's like saying the 85 / 86 drivers tend to get the more expensive size engines and the 89 drivers run the cheap four pots.

Glad these have gone, I was itching to buy them.. relieved my wallet wont take another hit
