Deposit Down on a Coupe!

Hi All,

After about a year of deciding where my future of car ownership was to be and about 6 months of searching/reading the forum/learning, I've finally put my name and money down on a Zed.

It is a Black Coupe Sport with Red leather. It currently has 135s which I'm not a big fan of but I didn't want to wait any more to find my dream spec! Decided to get from a BMW dealer despite the price hike as I wanted the security of a FSH, checks, warranty and general condition. It has fairly low mileage because I plan to thoroughly use it over the next couple of years!!

Already planning trips around the UK and Europe on top of it being my daily, now all I have to do is survive the winter....

Oh and if anyone knows where I might be able to get a set of 108s or 203s for a (BMW refurbed) set of 135s, or a set of 225/40/18R winter tyres I would be very interested to hear!

Will attempt to put pictures up when she arrives....

Cheers, (a very excited) Dave :D

Is the deposit refundable ? You got the wrong one ! :P

Just kidding - welcome to the forum, and congratulations

Thanks for all the kind welcomes and congrats.

A little bit of rubbish news so far, I went on holiday for 5 days so picking the car up has been delayed. Should be able to pick her up on Wednesday and will put some pics up. Works well as a humongous Christmas present to myself!!

Bluestreak - I work as an Engineer for a well known car company in Warwickshire so live around there, but I'm (proudly) from a north western seaside town originally and still make the big trip up often.

Mr Wilks - it is currently on Style 135's but would love a set of Style 203's if I can get my hands on them even though mine is a Sport, eyes firmly open!

Soooooo.... Apologies for the MASSIVE delay, but I've been busy enjoying my new (now dirty) toy. Pictures below!

Bit embarrassed by the current cleanliness, but between picking this up and now I've done Christmas up and down the country, moved house and changed jobs so it's been fairly manic with daylight hours in short supply.

Even so the eagle eyed amongst you might notice I've already got myself a stubby from Harry Fairbairn BMW, which gave an AMAZING service and delivered incredibly quickly. I've also managed to take the 3.0si and Z4 badges off, to make the bodywork look a little less busy. Loving both of these cheap and quick mods, really tidies the Zed up!

Despite my first message I'm also not as bothered by the style 135s as I thought I would... but maybe I'll change in future.

Enjoy!

Looking good! Best interior combo! I gave up on my hunt for a carbon black and red interior on the M :( impossible to find.
