14.0 Dealer must have driven it a little.

Lowest we've ever had was on the X3.

Mine had 5, and that was because I "forced" them to refuel it.

When paying £60k for a car, I expect at least a full fuel tank. So warned them that when I arrived a few days back, that I wanted to see a car with a full tank. So they had to pop out and fill it up ...

That increased the mileage total to 5 :D

Really? They did that for you? Very good muscle flexing on your part. But they could have just ignored you. Mum told me that when you bought cars brand new in the 80s/90s, you would get a bouquet of flowers for your trouble! I didn’t get that with my brand new Ford in 2001!

Sytner Nottingham still do the bouquet of flowers thing for women collecting new cars (well I HOPE it's just for women !)

Our zed had 3/4 of a tank in it and the dealer charged us for it.

BMW used to fill the cars at the factory. Not long after we collected the X3 in Munich, BMW changed to 1/4 tank fill as the fuel was costing them too much.

My order sheet bills me for £40 of fuel so I guess I will recieve about 3/4 tank...

Dont get owt for nowt

I can remember as a kid my dad had delivered a brand new 1964 Ford Zodiac Mk 3 straight 6, two gentlemen dressed in suits delivered it to the house with a bouquet of flowers for my mum and a metal pedal version of the car for me, I was 6 at the time and the envy of all my friends as me and Pauline, my girl friend at the time, cruised up and down the street. :driving:

I got him to agree to a full tank of fuel as part of my deal. He did it with the 1'er last year as well.

I know it will be Tesco crap cos thats the closest to the dealer, but I will make sure I get it, and I aint paying for it.

When I bought mine second hand (Sycamore Peterborough) there was a bunch of flowers for my wife. I think the salesman said something about something to distract her attention away from the fact I was thundering around the fens in my new pride & joy...

Will depend on the pdi test route no? Assume they still take for a pre delivery test run? :?

This.

I get to the point of agreeing the deal and just about to shake on it, and then say 'a tank of fuel and we'll do it'. It usually works :D

A tank of fuel is £60+ now so well worth having.
