Update on my cars paint and it isn't good i'm afraid.
BMW dealer has fooked my car. Left it in today for the area inspector guy to "inspect" the bleamish on the front wing and the water spots.
Get this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I arrived to pick it up I was told that the car would have to be painted to fix the bleamish. Now this mark is barely visible under the bonnet at the front wing and I was only concerned it might get worse but no it has to be painted.
Ok next problem. Water spots will also be "buffed" out when the car is in the body shop and that it was caused by "something in the water" and possibly "not rain water" but it would be sorted.
Then I was told they were washing the car :x they had been told not to. I went out to the car and holy good fook it looked like they had washed it with a brillow pad. Scores all over the bonnet and a large chip in the paint and scores deep into the rear bumper were a stone must have been in a sponge and the bleamish!!!!!! they had scrapped it away to examin it and left it showing bare metal. Yeah they have to paint it now!!!!!!!
I went totally mental. Only then I was given the truth to an extent. The lacquer they admitted had absorbed moisture and by rubbing of the polish in an area (leaving it very badly marred may I add) then heating it the water stain came out and they intended to do this in a body shop. I had told the service adviser at the time of collecting of this problem being mentioned on the internet (water absorbed but heating removing it) and he sayed he never heard of it yet he knew fine well that was what had been done to my car in a test. He fooked off out of the way and left the service manager to deal with it.
The service manager then tried to tell me the car had not been washed

Yes it was I had to wait until they finished it and they brought it round to me wet
So the car goes into the body shop on Monday. I shall be making a full complaint to BMW UK as well cos i'm NOT FOOKING HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Service manger did state their body shop was very good. My reply "As you can't even wash the f*&king car proberly I doubt very much you can paint it"
Really gutted. Really really gutted. Car hadn't even a stone chip or a single swirl.
