Dash Cam

Have been thinking of fitting a Dash Cam to my ZMR.

Would appreciate any recommendations on which one to fit.

Our company cars may be fitted with them also in the future which seems ok as I do 25000 miles per year and there are a lot of nutters on the road. :headbang:

I assume that the camera records both video and audio? Can the audio be muted as I don't like the principle of 'big brother' listening to me all the time.

A lot of us on here use 0803, 0805, 0806 cameras. I have two 0803's and caught this idiot only this morning. He only looked left :headbang:

Need to find a better way to upload though as the quality drops badly.

Worth taking a look at the Mobius. I purchased one a few montha ago. Not the cheapest or most expensive but does the job. The camera size was also important for me. Its very unobtrusive. The support is also good.

Blackvue make excellent pieces of kit. Have one fitted in my Zed.

Wi-Fi enabled too so you can control from iPhone
Using a power manager it operates 24/7 and records car park bumps, while protecting the battery from excess discharge
Single of multi channel.

So the magic pro power set up is worth the extra?

What voltage have you set yours to?

Thanks

I purchased an Ebay version that's advertised under the same name. Cost about £10. Leave it set to 12.0v iirc. I like it as I often park at the airport for several days and the last thing I want is a flat battery, especially as I have a lightweight race battery fitted. It can easily be fitted in the void above the light fitting and ziptied securely
