Custom Exhaust

Getting an itch to find next thing to do on the car. Is anyone familiar with Overkill Performance based in Milton Keynes? Got a quote from them for a x pipe and a cat back system. Awaiting some E46 M3 sample sound videos to help with decision making. Any advice or personal recommendations with custom exhaust solution appreciated. Thanks

My car came fitted with Powerflow back boxes and I really like them.

A bit more volume and some popping but no drone at Motorway speeds.

One of them had a bracket missing. Went to their distributor in Slough and got one made up fitted for £30 which I thought was impressive.

Never heard of them but they seem to be pretty adept at welding things up. How much is the quote if you don’t mind me asking?

I see they can also do valved systems, something that’s sorely missing from the Z4M aftermarket and something that would definitely tempt me (as long as it didn’t cost several thousand!)

Edit-might be worth giving Simpson race exhausts a call. It’s a name I came across years ago and were well regarded at the time.

I'm not too far from MK and am also interested in a custom exhaust. SGRG - would you mind if I PM'd you to discuss as I would be really interested to hear what options Overkill have available and at what price(s). I have been thinking along the lines of just a set of rear boxes so that the car can be put back to stock later on.

Hey Mr Tidy, I have contacted them. They gave an estimation of 800 to 900 for a cat back system. Any chance you have some videos you can share of your car?

Thanks for the suggestion Beanie. They have quoted 1499 for a cat back system with x pipe. 1950 for a valved setup. Not bad I would say. Supersprint with x pipe only would cost about the same. They said they have modelled their system after supersprint.

Yep I have thought about them. I think Evolve are the only one i have come across that sales them. Lets see bit intrigued with custom solution.

Sure thing BillyTheCat. I am in early stages of discussion with them. I became aware of them via instagram. Dave is really good with responses via social media. I suggested moving the discussion to email etc but he wants to keep it on instagram bit odd but whatever. Hit me up maybe we can work out some discount with them.
