Diddnt have any in my M3 and you dont realise how much you miss them. Sounds silly but it was one of the things i looked for when choosing the Z

given the right car without cup holders though, it is cheap enough to add them not to rule that car out isnt it ?

You would think BMW would put in decent and functional cup holders! Until they figure it out, am glad others make after market products to complete our car needs!

WHy do you need cup holders just get a large paper cup and hold it between your legs!!

Isn't that how they did it in the olden days, Tim???

it only has half a base so things are sometimes a little lopsided if they don't fill the holder fully.

That half a base seems to be part of the problem. That and a really short rachet arm. It is designed that way to fit back into the dash. All drinks tend to lop over because of the half bottom and short rachet arm.

I figured out how to work the cup holders. Man, I'm special

Glad you figured that one out.
Travelled 400 miles in the last 2 days with a variety of hot and cold drinks in them and no worries, wobbles or scalded bits, despite a few unexpected stops on the motorway
