Cup Holders - anyone else interested?

Is it too late to sign up for this?

Not too late yet! Still collecting names at this point as the list keeps growing and naturally the bigger the group, the better the deal we should get. If you are interested, let me know if you want both or just one side (and which side)? Thanks...

To throw in my unsolicited 2 cents, I've only used my OEM cupholders twice since I bought my set of Ultimate Cupholders ("UC"). If my Z4 didn't have OEM cupholders, I wouldn't buy any, but would instead get the UC.

Here's why: with drinks that sweat, like a cold glass of anything on a hot day with the top down, the condensation forming and dripping from the OEM cupholders is positioned exactly over the door window switches. Several times, my passenger window went up on its own (look, it's magic!) when this condensation dripped into the switch on the driver's door. It has only done that when water got into the switch from the OEM cupholders. That can't be good for the longevity of the window switches, or cheap to replace. The remaining cup codensation drips on your leg/pants as you drive along. That doesn't look so good when you get out of the car. Save your money (and power windows) and get the UC. They look great and function flawlessly, whether you are carrying an 8 oz cup of hot joe or a quart of Gatorade. I've yet to have anything spill while in them.

Thats good to know but you may be overlooking one slight detail "on a hot day with the top down" we have no idea what that is over here in old blighty.

And then there's that... :P

Having never been to "old blighty," I don't really have a feel for the usual weather there. Here, just this Monday, the temp got up to 73 degrees F (22.7 C), so I had the top down while cruising the beach. No humidity = a perfect day. As you can imagine, snow is a rare event here.

Nah, £30 is my best offer due to the hassle I will face getting a matching blank plate

Just an update for everyone, sorry for the delay but due to the Xmas season and certain suppliers being away this has been somewhat delayed. I have contacted the potential suppliers and will revert back as soon as I get prices........ not too many more days of coffee cup between the legs - we will get there in the end!

Marco, I have just looked at the list and see that Dan Yeates has his name down for a pair, Dan has sold his car now I'm pretty sure.
