Sounds good to me. Ill take a pair if there is a deal to be had with all the screws etc... Ive also asked for a cheeky deal on the ebay ones... ill keep you all posted of the result...

I'm having another busy day at work, and forgot to check whether the above prices include VAT.

Even if they do inlcude VAT, once you knock the 10% forum discount off the price, they still work out cheaper than the best alternative.

If the prices above INCLUDE VAT - then it's the deal of the century :thumbsup:

Hi,

I have just called Sytner in Solihull on 0121733 3444 and spoke to Calvin.

He did not know what I was talking about and hasn't sold one of these cupholders since around Nov 2011. He also spoke to the 4 other people in the parts department and none of them were aware of any deal with a Z4 Forum or even with those prices.

Their retail price is:
£85-22 (pair)
£42-61 (one side)

When I mentioned the alleged 10% discount, he said he is happy to do that, but that only brings the price to:
£76-70
£38-35

Furthermore, he advised they don't normally post parts and would have to assess that on an individual basis and cannot confirm whether it will be free for everyone as he needs to know where it is being posted to. He said the previous prices quoted maybe without VAT (but then again the single does not add up).

So if anyone has ordered or had this discussion with Sytner in Solihull can you please advise who you spoke to? Or perhaps you can arrange a contact for us to call so we can all order at that price (if in fact they are doing that price)?

Otherwise I suggest we go ahead with Bmwministyle as they still seem to have the best price and you can order online without any hassles. I just need to let them know so they can drop the price on their site.

I still have the call record on my phone from yesterday. Called at 12.26pm. I got the prices and fed back on the forum....

I purchased a pair on 10th of Jan for £64 from Sytner Solihull
Phone Syntner and ask for Keith in the parts department.

Was that the final price inlusive of VAT and Postage?
 
Is there anything happening with this? Im only asking because I could definately do with one at the min as im doing a lot of travelling and i am gettin a bit fed up of sitting in the services to drink a coffee. Why oh why are they not standard on a 30g car :x
 
I've told the chap at Bmwministlye that we would like to go ahead with the prices he quoted so that those who are still interested can purchase them. I'm waiting for him to confirm when he will be dropping the prices on his website (which he will do for a week) so we can all make our individual purchases. As soon as he tells me when this is, I will let you all know. Thanks to everyone else who has tried to look for better prices but like many others I just want to get on with this now and so as soon as Bmwministyle adjust their website I'll be placing my order (and letting everyone know). :thumbsup:

Just for anyone looking at the ones on eBay via the earlier link… They don't include faceplates or torn screws apparently…

'Regrettably, This does not come with the face plate 51457056651 £9.16 or the screw 65758235255 £0.29, these can be added to our shop at your request'

Takes the price quite a lot further above the offering here.
 
I just had a reply from Bmwministyle, unfortunately one of his family members has fallen ill so there is a delay:

"Hi Marco, really sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately I have had to take some time away from work and can't foresee being back for a few days.
We can certainly sort something out for you but I am afraid it will be a few days before I can set this up. Once I am back I will let you know.
Sorry for any inconvenience"

I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from him...... sorry for the delay everyone. If I don't hear back from him in the next few days, I'll follow up but I will keep you all posted.
