Dear oh dear.
I really careth not a jot what anyone thinks about the fact that my wheels were indecently cheap. What does hack me off is the analogy of plastic windows. Sorry, but this is well wide of the mark.
1. The wheels I bought have been manufactured from the same basic raw materials as any other.
2. They have to be manufactured in the same basic way as any wheel, OEM or otherwise, AND they have to, by law, comply with minimum safety standards (CE anyone).
I agree that every one is entirely entitled to their opinion, however, lets base the opinions on fact, not conjecture or wild analogies that simply do not stack up.
Heres my opinion though, just because I spend a large amount of money buying a car does not mean that I have to buy accessories on the basis that I must by THE best available. I buy accessories that are fit for purpose. In a similar vein, I own a very expensive watch, but do you really think I have to replace the battery with a genuine replacement? Honestly, I don't understand that mentality. I won't criticise or put down anyone who does feel that way inclined - karma man

, but please don't put forward a ridiculous analogy and expect me to not react adversely ....
