Crashed the Z4 (E89) this morning.

Glad it's getting sorted, worth noting most if not pretty much all speed cameras don't flash anymore so not much use checking!!

Are you saying that all the thousands of Gatso cameras alongside roads and in many places such as the M42 variable speed sections have been modified to no longer require the use of a flash?

I know - I was citing it as an example of where I see literally dozens of them mounted on the gantries and they all flash (thankfully not at me)...

Picking the car back up tomorrow.
I dare say if i hadnt been looking in the rear view I would of seen her stop.
So yes speed cameras do cause accidents.
The wife made sure I was ok first then asked if I had been driving too fast.
Me drive fast, no way.

Thank god you won't be bringing the honda Civic

That is even more than my M

This is relating to a German trip Dario and I were on a couple of years back, my M, his 3.0. I consistently used less fuel even though I was making rapid process (i.e. read flat out). He never recovered :D

UK drivers have to be paranoid as we get flashed even if you don't do anything wrong, and you are guilty until proven innocent when it comes to traffic offences here.

Digital ones still have a magenta flash though?
Only Truevelo cameras are type approved to use Magenta filters on their flash. These are the cameras which photograph the front of the vehicle.

Gatsos (which photograph the rear of the vehicle) use white flash.

Specs (which calculate average speed between cameras) don't use any flash, but photograph the number plate of EVERY vehicle which passes them - hence the privacy concerns about their use.

I think that pretty well all speed cameras these days are digital.

So basically, if you pass at green light, you drive backward to check that it was really green ?
