Cracked alloys

Hi all,

Update time!

Daughter has got her Z4 back with two new alloys. The stealers initially only wanted to pay for one!

She told them to jog on!

They then came back with an 80% " goodwill" gesture on the second alloy.

Daughter told them enough is enough and they would be hearing from her solicitor.

Approx 30 mins later they called back and said they would cover the 20% ( £95 approx )

They also replaced one of the run flats as it showed uneven wear!

They sold her the other run flat at £200 which
Was cheaper than elsewhere.

All in all she is happy with the final outcome but upset that she had to fight tooth and nail for it.

The dealer denied all knowledge of the problem with this alloy wheel design.....there's a surprise.

So overall 5/10 for Premier BMW Lllandudno North Wales. Must do better!

Hi. My Z4 sdrive 3.0 was returned yesterday complete with new rear 19" 296 wheel which was fitted under warranty FOC.
I have no complaints about the dealer who supplied this car from new and also provided me with a loan car (upon request).

However I have informed them that I am not happy about the prospect of further cracked alloys (bearing in mind the comments that I have read on this forum) and I intend therefore to take up this matter with BMW (UK) customer services.

Any further comments or information would be most appreciated, I will however update in due course.

Good luck taking this up with BMW, I've had long discussions with them over this and they will only replace if broken, and even then there are hoops to jump through.
