The light was pretty good tonight so I decided to snap a couple of shots on my new camera. Yes, I really should have driven to a better location, parked next to the house isn't the best

Reminds me of......................oh well, never mind

I have that stubby, and I'm finding that those 3 bands on the top of the aerial will start to crack and fall off (there's 3 tiny rubber bands in the grooves). It won't harm the body of the aerial, but it's annoying. :(

I don't know If I would be running around telling folks I had a stubby with 3 rubber bands on It :o :driving:

So umm Rick - what is it you are doing that causes stress to the bands on to your stubby? (Or is this one of those questions we might want the answer to?). :?

Geez, you guys are really sick. And BTW, PhilDZ4 had nothing to do with this. :o

I was washing my car the other day and the top band came off. I looked at the other 2 below it and the bands were cracked. They're going to fall off eventually. I dunno why it's even there, as it doesn't really add to the reception.

I hope the rest of the aerial will stay in one piece. I'd hate to see it fly off the car one of these days.

It was
A. too close for the size lens he was using...or
B. Depth of field was off
c. Didn't have his glasses on and Diopter was not set right

keep on trying....you"ll get it

By the way Rick.........If it does fall off you will have to buy all new clothes :gfight:

My Dear Mr. Hunter,

I suspect your "stubby troubles" may be a direct result of washing your car. My stubby is in fine shape, need I say why?

:D :D

Sooooooooo youve got a dehydrated stubby!!!!! That's a shame...and your so young too!!!

Nah, Rick just washes/rubs his too much for too long and too hard. It's a simple case of stubby abuse, that's all. :poke:

Gee thanx AJ, but why the refrainism? Now that you've got a new bitch, you're too good to joke dirty with us? :stir:
 you know I love ya babe!

Maybe we should set up an intervention for Rick before he goes blind from rubbing that thing....... :P
