Coupe vs Roadster

I am at this very juncture!!!

First was a black E89 2.5si which started the whole love affair and also my first ever convertible car. That has gone and now I am with a Silver 2008 2.0i, lovely but too slow.

I am now going the whole hog and getting a low mileage Z4M Roadster this weekend. I have only seen a few Coupes and think they look nice but I can never live without a convertible. So, what do do.... what to do....?

I have secured a hardtop for my 2.0i which I will be keeping for the Z4M, getting it stripped and painted Imola Red like the roadster I am picking up.

Any ideas.....?

Please don't mention the E89s.... :-(

Buy both... if I had the space I would

Aaaahhh If only ;-) I would do that in a hearbeat.

Its going to be the Roadster I'm afraid. I need to actually enjoy the car and I am not looking to track it even though I have seen the Roadster on the Nurburgring (YouTube) and it looked awesome!

but it cannot replace the feeling of riding open top in the roadster
But we live in England....rain rain rain

In the times when it's not raining... Aaaahhhh Blisss :-)
8) Ah those perfect cool crisp sunny September days. :D Been driving my roadster all week this week, life is good? :driving:

Drove home from a family meal last night roof down, stars over head, moon pointing to the road home. What a perfect way to enjoy a car.

Z4 coupé for general driving, Mazda for topless fun, 911 for 'serious' fun. Works for me :D

Yep....
Work carpark,
Remote roof down,
In car
All the way home (the long route)
In garage (Still Topless)
Repeat above next day x 5... 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
WEEKEND!!!

Definitely the Roadster!

Had both, prefer the Coupe, mostly because of its exclusivity.

My advice, get a roadster with the hardtop for the best of both worlds (or at least 90% of it) ;)

Good idea...

That’s why i am keeping the hardtop from my current 2.0 and will get it stripped and painted Imola Red to match the Z4M! :driving:

If only I had somewhere to store the hardtop I might be tempted by that idea - but as I don't it'd probably end up staying on all year!

I prefer the E85 Z4M personally. Mine costs more than some very decent E89s except maybe the 35is.

Its my 3rd E85... ;-)

Approx same number of ///M roadsters as ///M coupes in the UK.
