Maybe a coupe with a glass retractable sunroof is a good comprimise?!
I drove a coupe last year, but i didnt find it it drove different to my own car... it didnt feel heavier either (which is what i was expecting)

The coupes composure was most obvious on poorer road surfaces where the roadster will tend get a bit jiggly (both have bridgestone run flats and 18" 108's). It prompted me to buy a strut brace when I got home which has helped sharpen up the front end and add a bit of stiffness where it was needed.
