Coupe Gone. Alpina Here.

I was just scouring through Ebay when this Sterling Silver Alpina came up at £14,750 and the owner is saying that its also build number #169, (the same as yours Merbrook), but its obviously a different colour...?

The Alpina Register shows #169 as black, so what he is advertising definitely isn't #169

Good spot - I'd looked for 196 to see if he'd mis-typed it and was still trawling through.
I'd still have to call him and let him know I wasn't too happy if he was advertsing it with my build Number on it :o

Thanks for spotting this Number 5, I spoke to the seller this morning and it is a genuine mistake on their part, it is actually #166 and they have adjusted their advert accordingly.
The guy was a nice bloke who is selling the car as he is moving to Spain with his wife and feels the car would be better off over here.
Did cause me some concern though and I'm quite relieved now, so once again thanks for the heads up.

No worries - I'm sure Taz wont get as confused once he buys it.

If I was going to Spain, I'd be taking it with me - Just think of all that open top, warm & sunny motoring !
