Correct Torque for wheel nuts

Does anyone know what the recommended torque setting should be for wheel nuts. I've read that these should be between 100nm - 120nm but havent found anything specific to the Z4.

Cheers
Paul

If you purchase the Extended Tool Kit from BMW it contains a Torque Wrench where the torque value is fixed at 130nm. It is designed to work with all E36, E46 & E90 3-Series, E39 5-Series, E85 Z4, E63/4 6-Series, and E65/6 7-Series BMW's.

1/2 inch drive ratchet with good old tug will do it, just check after a few miles

Current spec for all 12mm wheel bolts on BMWs is 120Nm +/-10Nm (Means the generic BMW fixed 130Nm torque wrench also works with the 14mm bolts used on the X5 etc, which has a spec of 140Nm +/-10Nm). Up until about 2002, the spec for 12mm wheel bolts was 100Nm +/-10Nm, but that spec is now obsolete.
