Cornwall in May

Myself and boyfriend planning on going to Cornwall early May, wanted some opinions on where to stay, what to see, where to dine etc. I've never been to Cornwall so would value your views. Also someone at work today suggested not taking the Zed as the little fishing villages have some narrow, crooked roads..would I be better off taking the Polo?
hi. check out the b3306 from st ives to lands end, take in cape cornwall and marazion. great drive a little narrow but brilliant views. enjoy and chill out

Haven't figured out the exact plan yet but if I go anywhere near Camborne will let you know and you could ask him, that would be great  this forum is so awesome!! Who needs Tripadvisor?

 its not far from St Ives which is lovely.

I live right down near the end and anywhere west of Truro/Falmouth has some lively roads. Although the odd areas may be tight and a few villages to annoy but down in the Lizard or the end of Lands End has some very quiet roads for a lovely ride. Would have to recommend A30 to Pool then into Helston and down towards the Lizard, very nice route and some lovely paces to stop towns the end.

Good ice n Cornwall though, best place in the Country to get lost in 8)

Cornwall is off for the time being because I have had enough of feeling cold. Might revisit the idea again later in the year as it sounds lovely but a bit pointless going if v bad weather. Instead during my 2 week break I'm booked to go to California for one week then likely Sicily/Dubrovnik for the second week. If that fails will go to the bfs place in Stuttgart and if weather forecasts nice drive down to Lake Garda or Maggiore. Thanks again for all your suggestions. I love this place.

Im going to Padstow next week, down the road from Newquay and St Ives. It has loads of Rick Stein restaurants, will let you know how it turns out.

Just seen your last post, if you go to Sicily, stay away from Trapani, used to live there, what a dump. Catania is nicer with more to do
