Hi, does anybody know the part number or where I can get a coolant hose, its the hose that sits lower left of radiator from front of vehicle and goes to front of engine (water pump)? It's seeping coolant from the collar. Have included a pic although not great!

I have one

However your issue is more likely to be the o ring failing in the pipe-

Check for part number then ring Sophers BMW for a price. they will want your Vin number to check for right part if you buy from them be sure to ask for Forum discount. They will post items out to you.
Also run the part number trhrough ebay and Autodoc to see their prices.
Good call by enuff check trhe O ring in the hose fitting.

I think the last hose I bought from sopers was under £30 all in including o rings

Are you sure it's not the green o-ring on the temperature sensor that's leaking ? Number 5 on the real.oem diagram. It's very common, mine has been replaced and many others on here. Coolant runs down along the bottom hose and can be misleading as to where it's coming from  13621433077.jpeg

It could well be you have described the symptoms spot on, I will have a look today, if it is where can I purchase an o ring? Many thanks

The sensor comes with a new o ring and are only a few quid from the usual places like euro car parts

If you just want to change the o ring I think I bought a selection box of o rings from halfords for about 8 quid

A decent sensor complete with o-ring can be had for £10 - £15. IIRC I fitted a Febi item  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334401083572?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=yi1ojZncSxy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=gngtrv3rtq2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Patriot66 Thank you so much, and thank you to everyone who took the time to reply, you have got to love this forum.
It was indeed the temp sensor, quick trip to GSF this morning and all fitted and sorted.
 :D

Looked yesterday and mine is the same- new sensor ordered- does the coolant system need bleeding after replacement?

Bled mine due to the fact I ended up changing rad and expansion tank, although I did sensor after this and only lost few drops, so you should be OK if you swap them quickly.

Is bleeding an easy process?

I put the front up on ramps, started by putting ignition to position 2 and turning heater onto lowest setting and max heat. Undo bleed screw by expansion tank cap and fill system, then fired engine up again slowly topping up and wait for fluid with no air bubbles to come out of bleed nipple, left to cool down and re check level.
