Top Hose - Coolant Leak

Hi All. My E85 has developed a leak where the yellow arrow indicates. Access is limited and I have little knowledge of how to fix this. Is anyone aware of any guides or information on here that can help me with this? Or is anyone able to offer some advice please? I am due to drive to France next week so this is really bad timing. :headbang:

Top hose is number 2. Not the one you have pointed out with the yellow arrow.
Easy to change. Just need to removed the plastic panel above front bumper to gain more access.

Sorry yes, my mistake. Thank you.
It is the lower hose, number 1, that I have the leak, on the end where the yellow arrow is pointing.
Is that the easy fix you mentioned or is that only for the top hose?
Cheers.

First double check where it is leaking from. Very common for the temp sensor (item 5) o-ring to fail. Fluid from there can look as though it is from the hose itself.

Second this- I thought mine was leaking where you indicate but it was the temp sensor- 5 minute fix!

It looks like you guys could be correct. A light wiggle of the temp sensor appears to make the leak worse. I will look to replace that first and hope that sorts it. I presume I replace the whole temp sensor and not just the O-Ring?
Thank you all very much.

Scrub that. I have just seen the price for the sensor.

Sensors are so cheap it's easier than trying to find the correct seal.

Just realised you pinched my photo of when I did mine
As I said in your other thread happy to do it for you if you can come to me- near barnsley

Hi, yes I used your graphic as it showed exactly what I was after. Thanks. :D
Now I have identified the leak location, I am OK to carry out the repair, but thank you for you offer. Also, I live in Woking, Surrey, so a long way from you. Cheers.
