Hey there!

I’m on the hunt for a DIY guide on how to flush the coolant in my N46 engine. I’ve seen a few videos, but it looks like bleeding the system afterward is a real pain.

Any tips or tricks you can share would be a lifesaver!

Cheers,

Cheers,
Get a vacuum filler, it takes almost all the hassle out. You’ll need an air compressor though.

That might be an idea! I have three compressors, so that’s all good. However, a system under pressure could potentially cause other problems on old hoses??? Cheers

If the hoses are fucked better to find out while you’re doing the job. It’s not going to cause any damage that isn’t already present.

Drain coolant, draw vacuum, close it off and see if it holds. Better than refilling and it pissing out

I’ve got the draper one, works very well.
