Coolant flush

I recently bought all my antifreeze coolant for my z4 come to take the blue screw at the bottom of the radiator. I have water in the expansion tank but no water comes out of the radiator. Has anybody come across this? Cause I am puzzled. I’ve watched many videos and they warm the car up which I’ve done. unscrew the screw for the radiator, then open the expansion tank and still no water comes out if I take the screw out of the coolant expansion tank comes out as stated in the manual

I looked up the radiator plug hole and the was something in the hole got a little pick up the hole and gushed out but refilled and no water out again very strange

I did mine last month in my M54 and when I undid the radiator bleed screw I didnt get much out initially either.

Followed 50'skids video on Youtube that describes what he did to drain his. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGjuqH-hUIo. I didnt remove any of the ancuillary parts so followed the video from about 1minute in to about 3mins 20.
I also took out the block drain to make sure I got the majority of it out before refitting and refilling.

When I drained my radiator I had to poke a screwdriver up the drain hole as it was blocked with sediment, flushing the system just pushed more sediment to the bottom of the radiator, after a few flushes it drained much better, but I decided a new radiator was way overdue
