Coolant flush conundrum

I did buy a cheap Bahco hydrometer, and it reckons my coolant is good to -23, -29 and -34, depending on what mood it’s in when I take the reading - I don’t really trust it :wink:

Do you have to remove the bleed screw each time you bleed the coolant or just the first time? NewTIS has confused me once again. At the end adding 100ml above max cold? Ugh. I ran the cycle twice and now I'm worried I have to much coolant in the system.

If you have overfilled the pressure cap should vent any excess just fine. The only risk is that an old and fragile plastic coolant tank can split before the cap vents and the tanks are a known weak spot on these cars.

Yeah I think I will remove some today to make sure. I did the coolant pump cycle twice already.
This is my third BMW, but the other two don't have an electric pump.
