Condensation in boot

Hi Guys,

For some reason I'm getting a build up of condensation in my boot area overnight (without it raining). I first noticed it after i washed the car but cleaned it all up and then the next day it was building up on the boot lid behind where the 3rd brake light is. There are no visible cracks on the brake light though.

It got so bad at one point (before i realised) that it pooled up around the battery!!

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening??

take a look in the nearest corners of the boot (next to the lights) bahind the carpet there are vents. when i first got my car the seal had perished and was letting water in.

i just used silicone and stuck it back on. the corner of my boot was soaking too
