at least the wear is uniform, id much rather see mine like this than one than 2 that are down to the copper. don't recall your mileage but these aren't that bad tbh in the grand scheme of S derivative bearing wear.
 
Replaced shells myself on other cars that looked far worse than that with deep scoring indicating contaminants in the oil. Personally this is the sort of wear you can expect by following the service interval recommendations and you are unlikely to see much wear if you change oil and filter every year or around 6000 miles with good quality products. Also simply sucking the oil out rather than opening up the plug will leave contaminants behind which can get into the bearings.
Also it is pointless changing the shells if the main bearing journals are similarly scored although they are a harder material - did you get a report on the condition of the journals
 
Interesting to see that if the bolts on con-rod bearing caps need to be replaced due to stretch or damage then the whole con-rod has to be changed as well! I've never seen this before, presumably due to higher stresses in the S series engines?
