Comfort Light Module

I thought it was set using the stalk next to the wheel, like cycling through mpg, range etc, but that could be wrong

Was looking at the combined one with ABC module (more details about car etc) but decided the lights module is probably all I would realistically use! Ooh and the gaptec! :evil:
 
I also have the gaptec... nice bit of kit too!
One minor flaw: the comfort light module also allows you to have the windows go up and down with a single touch, but this does not work properly if you also have the gaptec module (same command on the key remote). So I turned off that option on the comfort light module and everything works perfect now! When I open the car, she greets me with her angel eyes, fogs and tail lights :-) Same as when I close the car. You also have a "follow me home" thingy when you turn off the car and the headlights :-)
 
Just came across this sleeping thread and wondered since I have DRL on low output high beams, if this module was going to remove that when I select fogs as DRL...

Anyone experienced this change?

Also noticed that this company doesn't appear to ship to North America :(

I have the module installed in my Z. As DRL you can choose between fogs and low beam, you can also have the indicators on permanently (is that a US thing?) - and you can offcourse choose to activate or deaktivate rear lights as DRL's.
 
I know someone may have already mentioned this, but other than the cornering lights, can't the majority of these functions be coded in with a cable and software?

Thanks for the reply, but my question still stands; If I program the module for fogs as DRL's, will the module de-activate my present DRL programming? Need this to happen.

Nice post, most of the features can be coded to you car without the need of installing any module.
Intravee does all of this and more if you have a sat nav.

I had an early E85 model and not sure whether it could be programmed as such without module. Didn't have the satnav either... Found it pretty useful though, really modernises the car. You can change the setup very easily with your windscreen wipers, so no need to reprogram anything. Dunno if it will conflict with or deactivate any existing DRL's tho. You could ask the manufacturer.
 
Most of those functions can be selected in SSS or coded, so unless you're desperate for one or two of them it can be done cheaper but not quite as easily.
 
Yeah, plenty wouldn't. SSS is radio buttons so pretty easy, NCS not so much, but find a friendly member with a cable and it's possible.

I think it's a good module for people who want something pretty much plug and play.

That said, you can do almost everything it does with a cable and laptop for a lot less.
 
I developed in 2011 an comfort module by myself. There are 2 types of modules. Comfort without Roof Controlling and comfort with Roof Controlling.
