Collected my new sDrive 3.5i today!

It is a lovely colour :D

shame you can't get it on the 35is, I would have been surely tempted

That's lovely! Congrats!

How long have they offered the Z in Estoril!?

Man I wish they made the M in Estoril.

She looks great! How does it compare to the M?
Not had time to find out yet as I've only driven it for 35 miles in total, including last week's test drive!

I've spent the morning giving her a good coat of wax. :)

Looks really good and probably better in the flesh but for me when they stopped offering Deep Sea Blue it was a real shame and I really struggled with the poor colour choice and eventually ordered Melbourne Red - hopefully she arrives in May!!

As there's not that much difference between the 35i and 35is I wouldn't let that stop you. The 35i has everything you need unless you need the extra power for track use.

Well it's to late either way and I'm very happy with what I have, It's as quick as a 35i, has four wheel drive and seats four :D

Ironically if the OP wanted more power he has a lot more options than us 35iS'ers - the 6 speed box can take a lot of power and clutch upgrades are a doddle. Speaking to a tuning company in Germany a very knowledgeable chap with direct connections to Getrag informed me that the same DCT clutch pack is used across the range, including the M6 - the problem is not the clutch itself but the pressure which is exerted on said clutch, meaning the "upgraded" clutches will still slip and you will burn them out anyway.

It's very expensive and difficult to improve this DCT - when you compare that to a drop in clutch for the manual, no brainer.

Ryan@Syvecs has managed to put this DCT unit in a Supra - and experienced the same issues past 550-600nm, they are trying to upgrade it now, but will probably come up against the same issues. They are hoping for 1000ft/lb !

Think we went with ALA gap insurance but sorry can't remember the figures

Another ALA customer
I've used them for the last three cars and been fortunate not to have to test the product .

They probably do advertise on that site - but I just googled them.
Nice people to talk to and not pushy whatsoever!
