Yes, they said would send out another set as after 1 month seen nothing

Just noticed the seller suddenly has no items for sale, doesn't look good.

Frak... seller is now 'No longer registered with FleaBay'

If you bought anything from sidabra24, suggest you open a case saying you've noticed they're no longer a registered user :-(

Any luck with the clear hockeysticks?

Bugger! i will open a case now!

not had time to look for hockey stick tbh, been pretty busy with work.

The only other thing i can find is these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320796256733?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

everything else is cheap but does not have plastic ring cover over the leds like these

not sure how they will look without the plastic cover but £35 just for the bit of plastic :o

they are much better with the plasic cover -

I now have LED' rings that dont have the plastic cover and they dont look as good as the CCFL's ones that did have the cover

on a self serving note...
If anyone is interested I have 2 85mm CCFL rings and invertors for sale new - not been used

(you need 2x 80mm and 2x 85mm for a best fit)

Im guessing the plastic really helps to diffuse the light from the leds, making it more of a ring rather than individual leds.

i had a qick mesure of my lesnses as i thought 85mm would be better for main beam are but decided it would be tad too big? does it glue too chrome/black part or main beam reflector if you have 85mm?

And then there were two... thank you Mr. Postie

If the Goodwood soft top breakfast club wasn't on tomorrow, the dremmel would be out...

HI mate, im in similar situation, just waiting for my LED eyes to turn up, going down the black internals and tinted hockey stick route. just wondering if you did your grill black in the end? and if so any pics? as i already have and wasn't sure if it would be too much black. if it is i may keep the orange sticks

Hi BPM,

I did the chrome outer part using plasti-dip, and left the grill in the titanium colour.

Will see if i have a pic.

 I think I will have a play with what they look like when I've got them apart. I'm tempted to keep orange hockey sticks to break up the black.

Supposedly genuine

Will prob be the back covers. The seal gets hard after time and once you broke the seal they will steam up. I just added a bead of sealant on top of he seal and let it dry before reinstalling the back cover. Been fine since.

Good job Ben! I glued them up then used black silicone sealant, 2 layers.

TBH mine sometimes mist up in heavy rain or humid conditions.

Edit - I used Evostick

the only reason i think it's the sealant is because i used unibond roof and gutter sealant and my dad said it's best to use a silicone sealant.

i'll have a look at the back covers aswell. i re-used the same ones that were originally on the car, so i thought they would be fine.

i have just bought 2 new rear doors 25 quid for the pair - problem is now solved ... It's def those back covers, you should be able to tell by taking them off when its all misted up you will find water all over them.

the difference between the new rubber and old is very different for what it is worth... the new soft is a lot softer...

I'm hoping to use a silicone based adhesive sealant i saw in B&Q to do mine when I finally cut them open. Still waiting on my LED angel eyes. Also I the key is to make sure they are fully dried out and then make sure the back cover has a good seal too, and to do it in as cool temperature as possible as cold air carries less moisture.

Ranski recommended this Silicon Sealant - GB PRO BUILDERS SILICONE SEALANT ADHESIVE SUPER STRONG

On reading the reviews it's the mutts nutts

I kept getting little a bit of fogging in both my lights so I started mucking around with variations on solving the seal problem with the rear doors using the spare doors that I had kicking about. Tried turning the seals over, swapping them out, fitting with them pulled out a bit and finally tried with a small bead of silicone in the channel on the cover with the rubber seal sat on top. None of which worked. In fact, mist made one light so bad that I left the cover off to try to dry it out. An unexpected thunder storm caused the light to fill up with water so I stripped the bumper and lights off again.

I cut my lights open again. So much easier to cut siliconed lights open thank god. One of the lights was like a fish bowl but seemed to be well sealed where the cut was as none of the water leaked from here when I held the light up. Anyway, I cut all the unibond clear sealant that I had used off, cleaned up the cuts, dried the lights out and resealed them using Gold Label underwater and pond sealer. I used this to fix a leak in my garage roof last year and it's been great. It sticks like s**t to a blanket.

I ordered 2 new rear covers from Sopers for £22 delivered. Picking them up from the Post Office later today so singers crossed no more fogging. Last time I put the covers on while the lights were warm in the house. This time I'll be doing it in the garage where it's currently freezing.
