Yes. You should go for the hazzle of putting in the Ae's or you will regret it. I would have to say the effect is definitely worth it. I sourced mine off of ebay, I think they were around 75USD shipped.
You will need selant all the way around the back housing and the lens, if not water can penetrate the there and your headlight will fog up and have condensation in it (dont want that).
When doing this I would suggest using painters tape to hold the light in place as it will tend to slide during drying time. Make sure you get a good amount of silicone between the lens and housing to ensure it is properly sealed.
As far as mounting the Ae's you can gather on my post on page 13 how I did it or Cj did it differently. It all depends on how you prefer it to look. Good luck and ask quetions along the way....and take your time.
