I was listening to the live webcast of the Brooklands Historic aution today - one of the lots was a 99 Estoril blue Z3M with 51k warranted miles on the clock, guide price £15-£18k.
Now, I know that Z3M prices are on the up but this Lot sold for £23k, which, including 10% buyers premium and related VAT = £25,800k and that for a car that you can't test drive!
I can't help thinking that the buyer caught auction fever, as it seems a little overpriced. But I was wondering has anyone, with hindsight, felt they overpaid at such auctions?
