Wasn't this in another thread before? Not my cup of tea but then again I moved my Z4 badge from the boot lid to the interior. Each to their own. :)

Nope not for me that one, but I moved my 35i badge and put it under my boots Z4 badge which loads didn't like so I left it there

Anything that veers away from the original design can easily go badly wrong, the manufacturer usually knows best imho

Car of the month, nice !

The badge? It's different and even accurate for a 35iS, but I would say that as it's my car ! I had posted a pic re the badge on here in another thread earlier.

Mcbutler, it's actually an AMG badge not a Maser one in case you were wondering.

I went for quite subtle changes to the 35iS, wouldn't say its a Ricer or Mincer though as its not a Nissan or slow...:( Thanks guys Lol.

Don’t worry. I am pretty sure that for every one member of the population who doesn’t like it, there are 1000 who simply think you’re a “BMW*nker”, just like the rest of us. 🙂

For what it’s worth, I don’t think it looks bad, it’s more the Alpina/Mercedes connotations. Certain marketing departments seem to have dibs on certain phrases (which is why I had to take the “Superfast” badges off my Cavalier 1.4 L).

Yeah I actually like it, technically correct as Mavster rightly says. I was pricing them last night may do it myself

Ah yes we have a Merc around the corner with one of those badges. Looks daft onnthe Merc, need I say more, not for me.

It was a bit tongue in cheek when I 1st put it on, but it does get positive comments and conversations started about the N54 twin turbo engine and rarity of the iS model " The rest of the car is de-badged to keep it subtle. I quite like it now, so will be staying for a little while. Its quite an inexpensive touch too

Not for me  got one on my AMG and it may end up being removed

Those are a single "turbo" badge and not the same level of cool as a "BiTurbo" badge, so don't blame you for wanting to debadge it  :poke:

It’s your car and as long as you are pleased with the result that is all that matters. I put the chrome side repeaters on my 2010 is and like the way they look. Others really don’t like them. One man’s meat and all that! Sometimes when folk get a bit creative it gives you ideas for your own car. Other times you think that’s not for me.

That's OEM though ? It does look much better than pre-LCI cars' side repeaters.
