I have this "SDrive 35is" mouthful written on the side of mine too. They may be coming off..... The Z4 on the back is already off.

It’s your car and as long as you are pleased with the result that is all that matters. I put the chrome side repeaters on my 2010 is and like the way they look. Others really don’t like them. One man’s meat and all that! Sometimes when folk get a bit creative it gives you ideas for your own car. Other times you think that’s not for me. :roll:

That's OEM though ? It does look much better than pre-LCI cars' side repeaters.

True, a lot of folks like them but quite a few, including some of the most venerated of Forum members think they look a bit tacky. :roll:

Are you sure it is laminated fiber glass? I have just looked at the site and it does state real carbon fibre. Or are you saying they simply use a thin layer of real carbon fibre over fibre glass?
