This is my plan as it just peels off if you do not like it, seems it's worth a punt

yeah exactly.

When i used to own a celica the americans swore by the stuff.... i didnt know it was removable at the time... probb be easier ti spray my roll hoops with this then vinyl wrap them.

Hmm, depending on the finish, I may give that a try too (when it warms up).

Will need a load of plastic to cover the rest of the car!

Roll hoops sound like a very good idea. Although mine are already black so one less job to do. But I am going to try my grills with it.

I have used Plastidip to blacken 3.0i badges, and it has held up very well. Easy to apply and easier to remove. I've had it on over 6 months now, still holding up well. But the whole car???"

Its funny it says in one of his posts he is a perfectionist and OCD, clearly never been on the Z4-forum ;)!!!

It is quite interesting tho! Looks good in the pics but I doubt the car to the naked eye the car will have a fantastic finish. You can usually tell if a car has had a panel resprayed from the texture, even if it has been well done and had a light rub with wet and dry, but amazing project and hes a brave man!
